B2SCAN LLC has become a supplier of technological solutions to ensure the safety of participants and fans of the International Multisport Tournament “Future Games” in Kazan. The company supplied 72 stationary arched metal detectors, 30 X-ray television installations and 15 mobile systems for inspecting the undersides of vehicles to the Kazan Expo International Exhibition Center.
The inspection equipment helped to ensure multi-level security control during the “Future Games” due to its comprehensive operation: stationary arched metal detectors are designed to accurately detect metal objects on the body and clothing of the person being inspected; X-ray television installations (XTI) provide a thorough X-ray check of hand luggage. We have implemented an improved classification system for inspected objects: orange indicates organic materials, blue – inorganic, green – mixed; mobile systems for inspecting the undersides of vehicles allow you to quickly and accurately identify hidden and prohibited items for import and export that may be hidden under a car.
“Future Games” is a large-scale sporting event at the intersection of sports, science and technology, a synergy of classical and digital sports, which took place from February 21 to March 3, 2024 in Kazan. More than 260 international teams and more than 2,000 participants from around the world took part in the tournament. The number of views on streaming platforms exceeded 150 million.
International competitions were held in 21 innovative disciplines (16 in the main and 5 in the extended program). Each of them embodies the concept of “phygital” (physical + digital), that is, it combines physical culture and eSports or VR / AR technology, and therefore tests the skills of athletes in two previously unrelated dimensions.
The main venue for the “Future Games” in Kazan was the Kazan Expo exhibition complex. Also, both sports and new facilities (for example, the new IT quarter), as well as Innopolis, were used to host the Games.
Kazan’s victory in the bid to host the Games was announced at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum on June 16, 2022. Four other Russian cities competed for the right to host the Games: St. Petersburg, Moscow, Kaluga and Sochi.
