The presentation of the “Sterile Airport” project and the installation of the first universal disinfection corridor for disinfecting clothes, shoes, skin and hand luggage of passengers in Russian airports took place at the Krasnoyarsk International Airport on July 30, 2020.

With the resumption of air traffic, the issue of sanitary safety is extremely acute, so the Krasnoyarsk International Airport is taking a number of measures aimed at preventing infection with infectious and viral diseases.

“Krasnoyarsk Airport is implementing the “Sterile Airport” concept, aimed at preventing the spread of coronavirus infection. Markings have been applied to maintain distance, sanitizers have been installed, employees work in personal protective equipment, all passengers have their temperature measured, contact surfaces are regularly treated with disinfectants, and much more. Today, the first universal disinfection corridor has been added to these measures, which will ensure a high level of safety for airport passengers, which is our priority.”

The BITUSCAN company has specially manufactured and installed a universal disinfection corridor B2secure AntiVirus Box for the Krasnoyarsk airport. It was created in collaboration with the Krasnoyarsk manufacturer of technological equipment, the Hartman Factory, and allows for automatic complete disinfection of clothing, footwear, skin, as well as carry-on baggage of passengers, and for measuring body temperature in real time. This equipment destroys up to 99% of viruses and bacteria, provides high throughput – up to 360 people per hour, and the duration of disinfection of 1 person is only 10-20 seconds.

It is important that the liquid used as a disinfectant is a natural antiseptic with antibacterial and antiviral effects. In addition, the components included in the composition improve human immunity with a cumulative effect, and also cleanse the skin and mucous membranes.
