For the first time, Krasnoyarsk International Airport hosted two largest Eurasian forums for the development of passenger and cargo flights – NETWORK and NETWORK CARGO. More than 350 delegates from the transportation industry from around the world participated in large-scale events. Guests of the forums were able to appreciate the infrastructure of Krasnoyarsk Airport, which can rightly be considered the main hub of Siberia after the construction of a new terminal in December 2017.

The organizers of the NETWORK and NETWORK CARGO forums – The Center for Strategic Development in Civil Aviation said that within the framework of the platforms, “several unique business events will be held for airlines, airports, tour operators, freight terminals, express carriers, freight forwarders and solution providers from the Eurasian continent”.

The B2scan brand has become the official partner of the II Eurasian Network Route Development Forum, demonstrating an innovative product at its stand – B2scan SD1000 arched metal detector designed to accurately detect metal objects on the body and clothing of the person being inspected.

The organizers add that Krasnoyarsk was not accidentally chosen to host the Eurasian Aviation Forum. This region is located in the heart of Eurasia, being the most important air transport hub of Siberia and the Far East and a strategically important transit hub in air traffic between Europe and Asia. Today, this hub is in the top 15 largest airports in Russia. Regular and charter passenger transportation from Krasnoyarsk is carried out by 27 passenger airlines in 63 directions, domestic and international. In 2018, the airport’s passenger traffic exceeded the historical maximum and amounted to 2.5 million passengers.
